BROOKLYN DEFENDER SERVICES, RAICES, AND NDLON HOST LIVESTREAM ON IMMIGRANT JUSTICE IN THE TIME OF COVID-19
(NEW YORK, NY) – Tomorrow, join newly freed immigrants, excluded immigrant workers, and experts from Brooklyn Defender Services, RAICES, and the National Day Laborer Organizing Network (NDLON) for a livestream discussion and national perspectives on defending and advancing immigrant and worker justice during COVID-19. The federal pandemic response has trapped thousands of people in ICE’s jails and excluded millions of essential workers from emergency food and financial aid. Hear from directly impacted individuals and experts on what we can do in our communities to advance legal and bottom up solutions that save lives and build a new vision for comprehensive immigrant justice.
