Julian Montijo joined BDS in 2017. After graduating from Cornell University in 2015 with a BA in Comparative Literature and Economics, Julian lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina where he toured with an educational theatre company before moving back to Ithaca to work as a lab technician in medical entomology.

As a paralegal in the Family Defense Practice, he is responsible for assisting attorneys in drafting motions and speaking with clients as they navigate investigations and subsequent prosecutions by the Administration for Children’s Services. Julian speaks Spanish and would like to continue in a career representing indigent and undocumented parents.
