Staff Attorney, Family Defense Practice
Victor Montemayor joined the Brooklyn Defender Services Family Defense Practice in September 2017. Victor graduated from Portland State University in 2013 with a B.A. in Philosophy and earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2017.
While in law school, Victor interned at the Center for Appellate Litigation, the Criminal Practice of the Legal Aid Society, New York County Defender Services, and the Board of Elections in the City of New York. He was also a judicial intern for the Honorable Ronald L. Ellis of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
Victor is a proud Mexican-American and is fluent in Spanish. He is committed to defend the rights of parents and maintain family cohesion.
