Senior Staff Attorney, Criminal Defense Practice
George received his juris doctorate degree at The Ohio State University College of Law in May 2000. During law school, he participated on the Moot Court team, clerked for a criminal defense attorney, and worked as a judicial extern for a Justice of the Ohio Supreme Court. He also spent a summer studying law in England at Oxford University. After graduation, George was admitted to practice law in Colorado where he worked as a public defender for over four years. From January 2002 through April 2004, he represented indigent clients in Denver Municipal Court. From April 2004 until August 2006, he worked in Grand Junction for the Colorado State Public Defender’s Office, handling both misdemeanor and felony cases. Since September 2006, George has continued his career as a public defender at Brooklyn Defender Services. He is currently handling both misdemeanor and felony cases.
