Litigation Assistant, Family Defense Practice
Alison is a Litigation Assistant at Brooklyn Defender Services’ Family Defense Practice. She grew up in Southern California and Korea and graduated from Wheaton College with a BA in Political Science/ International Relations in 2015. Prior to joining BDS, she worked in many fields – including international development & relief work, advocacy, politics, and publishing – before she realized her true passion for the law.
From helping resettle refugees in the suburbs of Chicago to working in the House of Representatives, Alison has come to believe that systemic change starts with local action.
In her free time, Alison enjoys listening to podcasts on her commute, dancing, and preparing to go to law school as she dreams of becoming a public defender one day.
